How are words formed in Spanish? Word formation is the subject of the study of lexicology, a part of linguistics that deals with the analysis and structuring of the lexicon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without going too far into theoretical aspects, it is important to know that it can be useful to learn some word formation rules in order to use the language autonomously.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

En la derivaci\u00f3n, a una palabra simple se le a\u00f1ade una part\u00edcula. Si \u00e9sta va delante de la palabra, es un prefijo<\/strong>, y si va detr\u00e1s, le llamamos sufijo<\/strong>. La derivaci\u00f3n tiene frecuentemente un origen antiguo aunque tambi\u00e9n se forman continuamente nuevas palabras por este procedimiento.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
